Technical summary
GSM shield based on a SIM808 module from SimCom featuring GSM, GPRS and GPS functions. This interface board is Arduino-compatible and allows sending and receiving SMS, data or voice communications over the mobile network.
It can be controlled through AT commands from an Arduino or compatible board.
It requires a SIM card (not included) and is compatible with Arduino Uno, Leonardo, Mega 2560, etc. boards.
Note: using this shield requires powering the Arduino board through the external connector with a power supply of more than 500mA.
