Taidacent CN3791 MPPT Solar Charger Solar Battery Charger 6V 12V MPPT Solar Charge Controller 3.7V 4.2V 2A Charging Module ...

CN3791 Solar charging board

Note: This module has three input voltages, 6V 9V 12V, which match the operating voltage (rated voltage) of the solar panel: 6V 9V 12V
This is a solar charger used for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of a single-cell lithium battery. This MPPT solar charger lets you get as much energy as possible from solar panels or other photovoltaic devices and store it in a rechargeable lithium battery. It is very easy to use: just plug the solar panel into one side of the solar charger, then plug the battery into the other side, and you can start charging!
Solar Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) ensures that, as the light intensity changes, the photovoltaic cells deliver maximum power so as to make full use of solar energy. In general, a switching DC-DC converter is needed to implement the MPPT function, keeping the product of the output voltage and the charging current maximized (output).
The output of the solar charger is designed to charge a single lithium-ion polymer battery. The load must be connected in parallel with the battery. Each solar charger is fitted with a CN3791 power-tracking battery charging circuit, and four 2-pin JST / PH2.0 connectors are pre-installed.
By default, we set the hold voltage for MPPT. We therefore have three versions with input voltages of 6V, 9V and 12V (matching the operating voltage of 6V / 9V / 12V solar panels), which is very suitable for applications with a large voltage difference between the input voltage and the battery voltage.
When the output capacity of the input power supply is reduced, the internal circuit of the CN3791 can automatically track the maximum power point of the solar panel. The user does not need to consider the worst case.
Note: If the CN3791 MPPT solar charger is a 9V version, you must use a solar panel with an operating voltage of 9V.
