Technical summary
This GPRS Shield is based on SIMCOM's SIM900 module and is compatible with Arduino and its clones. It gives you a way to communicate using the GSM mobile phone network
The shield lets you get SMS, MMS, GPRS and Audio over UART by sending AT commands (GSM 07.07, 07.05 and SIMCOM Enhanced AT Commands)
The shield also has the 12 GPIO, 2 PWMs and one ADC of the SIM900 module (they are all 2V8 logic) brought out on board
It lets you send SMS, make phone calls, use GPRS and other mobile phone functions
It is suitable for learning GSM/GPRS mobile phone development, developing remote control equipment, wireless meter reading, smart home appliances, ultra-long-distance control, etc.
