Technical summary
This adapter, breakout board or prototyping board lets you install your Arduino (or clone) Nano 3.0 microcontroller on an adapter that connects each Arduino pin to a screw terminal.
The screw terminals come pre-assembled (soldered), as do the female pins that hold the Nano 3.0 board.
Screw terminals make prototyping a circuit that combines many inputs/outputs much easier to wire, cleaner and more reliable. Indeed, a connection through a screw terminal is far more resistant to movement, shocks and vibration than a connection through Dupont-type ends. Your prototyping circuit will therefore be much more durable and better prepared for the experimentation stages. It is, in a way, a prototyping shield.
