Technical summary
The "MuIn" board is a control platform for multi-purpose recreational robotics. Equipped with a powerful PIC18F2520 microcontroller, it can be used as a peripheral-control helper device for your microcontroller or as a full development base.
The board's microcontroller has a bootloader allowing it to be programmed serially.
You will thus be able to:
- Generate 2 PWM signals (to drive "DC" motors through an external power interface
not supplied) or drive 2 logic outputs.
- Control the position of 8 independent servo motors or drive 8 logic inputs/outputs.
- Acquire 5 analog voltages (with a 10-bit resolution) - Ideal for reading the position
of a potentiometer, a temperature sensor or an analog-output infrared rangefinder, etc...
- Retrieve data from an electronic compass (offered at the bottom of the page).
- Retrieve data from optional ultrasonic rangefinders (offered at the bottom of the page).
- Drive an optional motor management module (offered at the bottom of the page).
- Read from and write to external I2C™ components.*
