DESCRIPTION
The ESP32-CAM is an ESP-WROOM-32 development board from manufacturer AI Thinker combined with a 2MP OV2640 color camera. The ESP32-CAM module also has an SD card reader that can be used to record images when an event is detected (presence or motion detector, for example).
Espressif provides a complete API that gives access to all the features of the camera module. It really is an excellent basis for developing your own IP video surveillance system without having to fear that the video stream ends up on dubious servers.
